Perched high above Calistoga on the rugged slopes of Diamond Mountain, Morris Ranch is a rare and elevated expression of Napa Valley—both in perspective and intent. The story began in 2010, when Billy and Beth Morris set out to find a singular property that could unite natural beauty, agricultural purpose, and long-term legacy. After two years of searching, they discovered two adjoining parcels totaling 90 acres of pristine forestland and established vineyards, commanding sweeping views across the Napa Valley. A subsequent acquisition expanded the estate to 123 acres, deepening its scale, privacy, and potential.
From the outset, the Morris family approached the land with reverence. Steep forested hillsides, dramatic terrain, and carefully farmed vineyard blocks define the landscape, creating a setting of quiet intensity and raw elegance. It was here—at the highest peak of the property—that the philosophy behind Glorious Revolution was born.
The careful replanting of Block 1, the estate’s most elevated vineyard site, marked a turning point. Rather than simply restoring vines, the Morris’ saw an opportunity to reimagine what this land could express. That thoughtful transformation—rooted in patience, precision, and respect for place—became the foundation of the Glorious Revolution wine brand: a commitment to wines that speak honestly of elevation, exposure, and intention.
Today, the vineyards are meticulously cared for under the expert stewardship of Piña Vineyard Management, whose deep knowledge of Napa Valley mountain viticulture ensures each block is farmed with exacting attention to detail. Sustainable practices guide every decision, from soil health to canopy management, preserving the integrity of the land while allowing each vintage to fully express itself.
As the estate continues to evolve, so too do the vineyards. Select parcels of historic Zinfandel have recently been thoughtfully replanted to Cabernet Franc, aligning varietal choice with the site’s natural strengths and the long-term vision for the ranch. Together, land, stewardship, and intention converge at Morris Ranch—where Glorious Revolution continues to take shape, vintage after vintage, within the storied slopes of Diamond Mountain.
